Task 6
I just couldn't get into Picasa after using flickr. I did upload some photo's and have a bit of a browse. I found some beautiful photo's of the Yorkshire Dales in winter and even some of my home village. As an aside, I did enjoy playing Where in the World, I even did quite well at this - pure guesswork more than actual knwoledge.

Task 5: Flickr

After creating an account I uploaded photo's and added tags, included geotagging the picture on the left (taken one very early morning in Rome). I found trying to upload photo's here via flickr very frustrating and in the end I just uploaded them directly from my PC. I will probably use it though to store photo's and make them accessible to family and friends overseas, rather than emailing them as attachments as I have in the past.

Tasks 1, 2 & 3

I'm on my way with 23 Things and am looking forward to continuing the journey. I 've heard of most of the 'things', of course, Twitter, Flickr, blogs etc but haven't had much had the chance to explore them - so it's good to have the opportunity to do just that. I'm not sure at this stage just how or if I'll utilise some of these new technologies in my own work - but hey I'll at least enjoy the playing.
